Dark Depths

In darkling depths, where pressure's crush

A mermaid sings, her voice a hush

Bioluminescent scales shine bright

A lonely siren, lost in endless night

Her song echoes through the darkened sea

A haunting melody, a mystery

She swims alone, with fins so fine

A queen of darkness, in an ocean's shrine

The abyssal plains, her kingdom vast

Where creatures lurk, and darkness lasts

She rules with whispers, soft and low

A mermaid of the dark, in an ocean below

The darkness swirls, a velvet shroud

Around her form, a midnight cloud

Her voice, a sigh, a whispered spell

As she summons forth, the secrets to tell

The deep-sea creatures, they gather near

To hear her song, and banish fear

The anglerfish, with lantern bright

The giant squid, in dark delight

The ocean's depths, a labyrinth old

Where myths and legends, forever unfold

The mermaid's song, a siren's call

Lures sailors in, to a watery fall

But she, a loner, in this dark domain

Rules with a heart, that's lost its pain

A guardian of secrets, in the deep

A mermaid of darkness, in eternal sleep

Her kingdom's vast, her power's might

A queen of shadows, in the dark of night

She reigns supreme, with a gentle hand

A mermaid of the dark, in an ocean's stand

The darkness trembles, at her voice so sweet

As she sings on, in her underwater seat

A melody of mystery, a hymn of old

A mermaid's song, in the dark, cold gold

The currents shift, the tides obey

As she commands, the ocean's sway

The waves above, a distant roar

As she sings on, forever more

In the darkness, she finds her home

A place to hide, where she is alone

No light can pierce, the blackest night

As she sings on, with all her might

Her song is ancient, her voice is old

A melody that echoes, through the cold

A siren's call, that beckons in

The secrets of the deep, the mysteries within

The ocean's heart, beats in time with hers

As she sings on, with a voice that stirs

The darkness trembles, the light flees

As she reigns on, in the darkening sea

The mermaid's song, a haunting refrain

Echoes through the ocean's pain

A melody of loss, a hymn of sorrow

A mermaid's song, in the dark tomorrow

But even in darkness, there's a light

A spark of hope, a beacon in flight

A glimmer of beauty, in the dark below

A mermaid's song, that only few may know.
