The Legend of Jack the Reaper

Image
In the depths of rural England, where the misty dawn kissed the rolling hills, there existed a village shrouded in terror. The villagers whispered tales of a harbinger of death, a spectral figure known only as Jack the Reaper. They said Jack was once a mortal man, a farmer who tilled the very soil he now haunted. But a tragic accident involving his own scythe had severed his life thread, leaving him to roam the earth in search of souls to reap. The villagers described Jack as a towering figure draped in tattered black robes, his face hidden behind a hood. His eyes glowed like lanterns in the dark, and his presence was accompanied by an unearthly chill. He carried a scythe, its blade etched with strange symbols that seemed to shimmer in the moonlight. One dark and stormy night, a young traveler named Sarah stumbled into the village, seeking refuge from the torrential rain. The villagers, wary of outsiders, warned her about Jack, telling her to avoid the old windmill on the outskirts of ...

The Bride In Black

Image
In twilight's hush, where shadows play, A figure glides, in darkness gray. Her silk dress flows, like midnight's stream, And on her face, a veil does gleam. Her eyes, like lanterns, burn with mournful fire, Reflecting sorrow, and a heart's dark desire. Her skin, as pale as alabaster stone, Seems almost translucent, in the fading light's moan. She moves with purpose, through the empty halls, Her footsteps echoing, off the cold, stone walls. Her presence whispers, a haunting, mournful sigh, As if she's searching, for a love that's long gone by. In death's dark veil, she's shrouded, lost, and cold, A heart once full, now empty, grown old. Her love, a fleeting dream, that vanished in the night, Leaving her with sorrow, and a endless, dark delight. The wind it howls, like a mournful, restless sea, As she glides on, with purpose, wild, and free. Her black dress billows, like a dark, foreboding cloud, As she searches for her love, through the endless, dark crow...

I Learned

Image
I learned a very long time ago  To keep things buried deep inside  Things you just don't talk about The little secrets that we hide I learned to be silent How to bear my pain alone I learned to rely on no one  That I was pretty much on my own  I learned to turn my emotions off When it got too painful to feel  I learned to put on a happy face And pretend that I was real I learned to become invisible that my feelings didn't matter  I learned to die a little more until my life began to shatter, but then I learned to tell my story my written words, became my voice  I learned to take my power back that I wasn't left without a choice. This is where I left it I wrote this poem back in 2022 of October & I put my Journal up out of sight. Around this time I was going to a Therapist 2022 would be 2 yrs. I was learning to heal my inner child and to move past my childhood trauma πŸ’” I was verbally, mentally, emotionall abused. by ... not gonna say. my childhood...

The Old Mansion's Dark Secret

Image
As I sat in my dimly lit room, surrounded by the relics of a bygone era, I couldn't help but feel a chill run down my spine. The old, worn photograph in my hand seemed to stare back at me, its subjects' eyes gleaming with a malevolent intensity. The picture, which I'd found tucked away in the attic of my family's ancestral mansion, depicted a group of people standing in front of the very same house. But it was the figures themselves that sent shivers down my spine. There was the tall, gaunt man with sunken eyes, his face twisted into a cruel grin. Next to him stood a woman with a beauty that was both captivating and terrifying. Her eyes seemed to bore into my soul, and I could swear I saw a flicker of movement in her gaze. But it was the children who really caught my attention. They were gathered around the woman's skirts, their faces pale and drawn. One of them, a little boy with a look of abject terror in his eyes, seemed to be staring directly at me. I felt a col...

Privacy is a Human Right

Image
Stop Stalking & Harassment As I sit down to write this, I'm reminded of a fundamental truth: privacy is a human right. It's a right that's essential to our dignity, autonomy, and well-being. Yet, for many of us, this right is constantly under threat. I'm talking about stalking and harassment. Those unwelcome messages, calls, and emails. The constant monitoring of our online activities. The feeling of being watched and pursued, even in our own homes. Stalking is a crime, folks. It's a felony. And it's not just about physical stalking; cyberstalking and gang stalking are just as real and just as damaging. So, why do stalkers stalk? Often, it's about control and obsession. They might be ex-lovers, vengeful coworkers, or even family members of an ex-partner. They might feel threatened, jealous, or desperate. But whatever their motivations, their actions are unacceptable. Stalking can take many forms. It might start with annoying or threatening calls, emails,...

Banshee Belle

Image
In twilight's hush, where shadows play Amidst the whispers of a dying day She rises, Banshee Belle, a wraith With eyes aglow, like lanterns in death Her skin, a canvas of alabaster pale Her hair, a wild tangle of blackest veil She wails, a mournful cry, a scream That shatters glass, and makes the heart beam With fingers long, and bony as can be She beckons thee, to follow her decree Through forests dark, where ancient secrets sleep And graves creak open, with a haunted creep Her voice, a rusty gate, a mournful sigh Echoes through the night, as she passes by Leaving death's cold kiss, on the lips of the brave And striking fear, in the hearts of the enslaved Banshee Belle, a harbinger of doom A spirit fierce, with a wail that's her tomb She haunts the night, with a presence so cold A chill that freezes blood, and a story untold In abandoned castles, she's said to reside A ghostly apparition, where darkness abides Her wails echo through halls, where nobles once slept Now, ...

Allow Me

Image
I wasn't allowed to feel, My emotions locked, my heart concealed. I kept my feelings down, deep inside, Afraid to show signs of weakness, I had to hide. Something inside me died, A piece of my soul, lost, and left to divide. This pain, it had to go somewhere, Trapped inside, it couldn't get out, couldn't share. The pain that moved inside my body, Knew exactly what this was about, it was nobody's duty. Feelings that were never safe to feel, Tears, trapped behind the eyes, a heart that couldn't reveal. The weight that I carried all these years, Made me realize I wasn't allowed to be who I was, through all my tears. To be vulnerable, emotional, and free, Was a luxury I couldn't afford, a part of me I had to bury. I was told how to feel, told what was real, And I was never allowed to be me, to truly feel. My emotions were policed, my heart controlled, Leaving me a shell, a fragment of my soul. But now, I'm taking back my voice, My emotions, my heart, my choi...
