Kayson Didn’t Just Cry… He Encountered God.

Today marks a milestone in my son’s life — & in mine as his mother.

Kayson walked through the door after his powwow camp trip, & the very first thing he asked me was:

“Is it normal to cry during worship?”

In that moment, I felt the presence of God so strongly I almost cried myself.

Because I knew — my son didn’t just cry. He encountered God.

For three days before he left, I prayed over him:

“Lord, touch the places in him that need healing.”

“Remind him he is loved.”

“Let him feel the Holy Spirit.”

“Bring him home changed, different, set apart.”

“Let him walk in like Jesus is in him.”

And today, he told me:

“I was worshiping in full surrender.”

“I was praising.”

“I felt something.”

God answered every single prayer.

Even the 1:18 AM phone call — the one meant to confuse me, discourage me, and steal my peace — was exposed. I know who that little boy is he lives in two houses down from me. He hates when Kayson makes friends. Because Kayson has a heart and everyone loves him.

It wasn’t truth.

It wasn’t correction.

It was jealousy.
The enemy tried to steal the moment before the breakthrough.
But God said no.
My son came home different.
Softer.
Humbled.
Awakened.
Then he said something I will never forget:
“If I am disrespectful to my parents, I need to pray & then apologize…  I need to stop being mean & disrespectful to Grandpa too.”
That is not just maturity.
That is conviction.
That is the Holy Spirit shaping his heart.
& then this morning, my younger son Raiden said:
“I want to get baptized this Sunday.”
I told him, “Let’s get saved first. Let’s accept Jesus into your heart.”
I told him how proud I am, & how joyful God & the angels are right now.
Two sons.
One weekend.
One God moving in power.
This is a day I will never forget.

Praise Jesus!! Amen God gets all the glory; victory belongs to Jesus!! My victory is His salvation.

love you always
